Team member Code of Conduct

  1. Respect and Inclusion

1.1 Treat others with respect, courtesy, and fairness at all times. 1.2 Embrace and celebrate diversity, including differences in race, gender, nationality, and abilities. 1.3 Avoid engaging in any form of discrimination, harassment, bullying, or intimidation.

  1. Safety

2.1 Follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided by staff members. 2.2 Use appropriate safety equipment, including helmets, while skiing or snowboarding. 2.3 Adhere to designated slopes, trails, and skiing areas. 2.4 Be aware of and respect the safety of others on the slopes. 2.5 Report any accidents, injuries, or safety concerns to staff members immediately.

  1. Responsible Behaviour

3.1 Observe and adhere to the rules and regulations of the ski resort or facility. 3.2 Ski and snowboard in a responsible manner, considering the safety of oneself and others. 3.3 Avoid reckless or dangerous skiing or snowboarding behaviours that may put oneself or others at risk. 3.4 Respect the environment and natural surroundings, including not littering or damaging property. 3.5 Follow instructions regarding the use and care of equipment and facilities.

  1. Alcohol, Drugs, and Smoking

4.1 The consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited for participants who are underage. 4.2 Participants who are of legal drinking age must consume alcohol responsibly and within the guidelines of the law. 4.3 The use, possession, or distribution of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited. 4.4 Smoking is not permitted within 50 meters of any team accomodation, transport or training facility.

  1. Personal Belongings and Security

5.1 Participants are responsible for the security of their personal belongings. 5.2 Avoid leaving personal belongings unattended or in insecure locations. 5.3 Report any suspicious activity or theft to staff members immediately.

  1. Compliance with Staff Instructions

6.1 Follow instructions and guidance provided by staff members, including ski/snowboard coaches and program organizers. 6.2 Engage in all program activities and sessions as directed by staff members. 6.3 Show respect and cooperation towards staff members, understanding that they are responsible for the safety and smooth operation of the program.

  1. Reporting and Disciplinary Actions

7.1 Report any breaches of this code of conduct to staff members promptly. 7.2 Violations of the code of conduct may result in disciplinary actions, including verbal warnings, written warnings, suspension, or expulsion from the program, depending on the severity of the offense.

  1. Communication and Feedback

8.1 Maintain open and respectful communication with staff members and fellow participants. 8.2 Provide constructive feedback and suggestions to staff members for the improvement of the program. 8.3 Respect the confidentiality of personal information shared by staff members or fellow participants.

By participating in the residential ski and snowboard program, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to comply with this code of conduct. I understand that failure to adhere to this code may result in disciplinary actions or the termination of my participation in the program.
